Don't ask me how as it's all a bit of a blur...but some how we got the chance to pitch to Panasonic. The job is for a 3 mintue promo and a 3 minute behind the scenes, showcasing the new (and not yet released) Panasonic Lumix G3 camera. After David Proud's initial chat about his idea of an urban dance video in the streets of London, we produced a pitch to send off to Panasonic. It included a rough idea of what we wanted to do and show in the 3 minute video and as we were looking at urban street dancing culture we decided to call our pitch 'URBAN FUSION'
"Originating from the streets of New York, breakdancing or b-boying is one of the most popular styles of street dancing. It’s free flowing nature encourages contact and interaction with other dancers and spectators, giving a sense of unity to its often improvisational style. Influenced by hip-hop music, it’s fashion and urban graffiti links have made it more than just a form of dance, it’s a way of living…we call this ‘Urban Fusion’." - Taken from our pitch
Now the pitch was ready, all we had to do now was wait......arrrrhhh....bitting nails....hair falling out (not that much more can come out)...!
